Nancy
Galeota-Wozny
was a NEA
fellow at the Institute for Dance Criticism at the American
Dance Festival and a 2004 recipient of the Gary Parks Memorial
Award for Emerging Dance Critics. Her work has appeared in
Dance Magazine, The
Houston
Chronicle, Artshouston,
and several other publications. She is also a guild certified
practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method.®
Diane
Gudat
is from
Indianapolis, IN, where she has owned her own school, The
Dance Company, Inc., since 1979. She is the author of four
books on dance education, including Acrobatics for the
Dance Studio, and The Time Step Dictionary. Gudat
has served as a faculty member to the DMA, DTCB, FDM and the
CNADM
Teachers
Training Schools.
The
director of dance centers in Worcester and
Westborough, MA, Charlotte Klein is a member of DMA,
where she has served in many capacities at both the national
and New England levels. She is a cum laude graduate of
Worcester [MA] State
College,
where she also received an Honorary Doctorate (Doctor of
Humane Letters), and is a board member of the Worcester State
College Foundation and the college’s Business Advisory
Committee.
Sandra
Mihaloff
owned her
own insurance agency from 1979 to 1999, when she joined Markel
Insurance Company. She currently manages Markel’s Health &
Fitness Unit, which provides insurance for Dance, Martial
Arts, Gymnastics, and Performing Arts, programs. Sandra is a
licensed agent for Life & Health and Property & Casualty. She
earned her B.A. and M.A. from Western
Michigan University in Special Education.
David
Mullins
has over 25
years experience in the insurance industry and has been with
Markel Insurance Company since 1992. He is currently
responsible for managing the general liability and auto
caseloads of 4 examiners. Prior to coming to Markel, he was a
regional Claims Manager for the Nationwide Group. David
graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and did his
post-graduate work at the University
of
Virginia.
Tom
Ralabate
is an
associate professor of dance at the University at Buffalo
[NY], where he has served as dance director; assistant chair,
dance; and director of Zodiaque Dance Company, UB’s resident
dance company. He has served on international and national
dance faculties for all major dance organizations and is
currently the national education chairperson for Dance Masters
of America.
Jennifer
Rienert
has owned
and directed the New Hampshire School of Ballet for fourteen
years. (The school has been in her family for more than 40
years.) She is a certified teacher with Dance Masters of
America and served on its board of directors for the past
three years. Besides teaching at her own school, she judges
competitions both regionally and nationally and teaches master
classes throughout New England. Her website is

Kevin
Salisbury
is the
Assistant Director of Athletics for the Community College of
Rhode Island (CCRI), as well as an adjunct faculty in Physical
Education, Student Success, and Psychology (Sport Psychology
and General Psychology). Before CCRI, Kevin held positions at
Clark University, Brown University and Providence College. A
member of the Rhode Island Aquatic Hall of Fame, Kevin also
trains the Municipal, Providence, and State Police Academies
in water survival/rescue techniques.
Paul
Savary
is a dance
dad and volunteer member of the Dance Company Parent
Association at Chris Collins Dance Studio in Alexandria, VA.
He manages the DanceButton.com website and, along with his
wife, Suzann, created the popular dance parent discussion
site, DanceMom.com.
