Goldrush
Expands
Gold
Standard Press’ Goldrush magazine has grown into a
leading dance publication, serving the needs of dance
educators throughout the United States and Canada. Goldrush
began as a four-page newsletter more than a decade ago, and in
2004 it took on new life as a four-color, bimonthly magazine.
As a result of the overwhelmingly positive response from
readers and advertisers, the magazine will expand to nine
issues annually beginning with its second-anniversary issue in
July 2006. The magazine will be published in July, August,
September, October, November, December, January/February,
March/April and May/June.
In the
July/August 2005 issue, Rhee Gold wrote, “One of the best
compliments I’ve received since becoming a publisher actually
came from an advertiser. He called to inquire about placing an
ad in the Goldrush. When I started to go into my sales
pitch, he said, ‘Stop! You don’t have to sell me. I don’t care
what your numbers are; I want to be part of the philosophy of
the Goldrush.’ ”
A magazine
with a “back to basics” approach, Goldrush is an arm of
the Rhee Gold Company, whose mission is to be at the forefront
of dance and education by promoting the highest possible
standards in teaching. Goldrush understands the soul of
the teaching field.
