Crystal Chapman

Crystal Chapman teaches tap and theater dance at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Her award-winning choreography has been seen nationwide, and she has performed with such dance luminaries as Tommy Tune, Ann Reinking, and Savion Glover, as well as at Radio City Music Hall with Bernadette Peters. Chapman is most proud to have had worked with Chet Walker and Gwen Verdon in the pre-Broadway workshop of Fosse.

 

Marsha Proser Cohen

Marsha Cohen is a former writing teacher at Kennesaw State University just north of Atlanta. Involved in dance for more than 35 years, she, with her late husband Denny, owned Marden Photographers, Inc. and created Dance Manager software for studios. Cohen, a freelance writer and co-author of Jazz Danceology, has written numerous articles on dance and dancers.

 

Rhee Gold

Rhee Gold grew up in dance studios and later operated his own, performed and choreographed professionally, owned a leading dance competition, presided over national dance teaching organizations, and founded Project Motivate to reinvigorate dance teachers for the long run. His recent book, The Complete Guide to Teaching Dance is currently in its second printing.

 

Jarrod Harden

Together with his partner Sharon Rauber, Jarrod Harden directs Fusion Dance Centre in Kenilworth, NJ. Hardin trained in dance and musical theater as a high school student before attending Montclair [NJ] State University. Performing in various industrial performances, musical theater productions, and on MTV, Hardin has also choreographed and taught throughout the state of New Jersey.

 

Donna J. Pointkouski

Since 1996, Donna Pointkouski has managed TheGene Scene, a web site devoted to dancer and actor Gene Kelly, www.genekellyscene.com. Pointkouski is a freelance writer who also writes about travel and genealogy from her home in Philadelphia.

 

Judy Rice

Judy Rice is an Associate Professor of Dance at the University of Michigan, is on the faculty of Joffrey Midwest Workshop, and on the core faculty for DMA Teacher Training School. Jeannie M. Rizzo

Jeannie Rizzo teaches dance at Sandra’s School of Dance in Saugus, MA. She has been a long-time member of The Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston and The American Society (and served on its Board of Directors), and several local theater companies. Rizzo prints and publishes framed copies of her original dance poems through her own company called DanceRhymes™.

 

Larry Sousa

Larry Sousa is a director/choreographer based in Los Angeles. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his work in musical theater, including the prestigious Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award. Larry is currently developing Drama Club, a project which marks his debut as a documentary film director.

 

Kathy Velasco

Kathy Velasco serves as Managing Director for the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, a position she has held for ten years. She had 17 years of non-profit management and marketing experience prior to joining CNADM in 1996.
