Aller
Marcia
Aller is a member of the Cechetti Council of America, the
Professional Dancers Society, and a past president of Dance
Masters of America. She directed her school in Wyandotte, MI
for more than 40 years. She is the creator of the Dance Game,
a unique board game designed to increase knowledge of dance
and performance.
Hester
Davis
Hester
Davis was trained by the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston before
going to New York City, where she worked with Dan Karaty,
Desmond Richardson and Darrin Henson. She later became the
Director of Dance and Head Teacher at the Glenwood Springs
[CO] Center for the Arts, and is currently the Executive
Director and partial owner of En L'Air Dance Academy, LLC in
Woodland Park, CO.
Nancy
Galeota-Wozney
Nancy
Galeota-Wozney was a NEA fellow at the Institute for Dance
Criticism at the American Dance Festival and a 2004 recipient
of the Gary Parks Memorial Award for Emerging Dance Critics.
Her work has appeared in Dance Magazine, The
Houston
Chronicle, Artshouston,
and several other publications. She is also a guild certified
practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method®.
Rhee
Gold
Rhee Gold
grew up in dance studios and later operated his own, performed
and choreographed professionally, owned a leading dance
competition, presided over national dance teaching
organizations, and founded Project Motivate to reinvigorate
dance teachers for the long run. His recent book, The
Complete Guide to Teaching Dance is currently in its
second printing.
Adam
Grant
Adam Grant writes regularly for numerous news and
entertainment publications, both in his home country of Canada
and abroad. In 2004, he self-published a book of poetry called
Anti-Hero Episodes. Adam graduated on the 2003 Dean’s
Honours List from Hamilton, ON, Canada’s Mohawk College, where
he majored in Broadcast Journalism.
Theresa
Grenier
Theresa
Grenier took her first dance lesson at age 4. A musical
theater veteran, she has trained in ballroom, tap, and
theatrical dance, as well as acting and classical voice. She
has also studied traditional Polish folk dance with the
Krakowiak Polish Dancers of Boston, and was a
semi-professional cheerleader for the Woonsocket Sentinels
football team in Woonsocket,
RI. Theresa received her B.A. in Journalism from
Northeastern
University.
Kenleigh
Hall
Raised by a
Martha Graham dancer and a Naval Engineer, Kenleigh Hall
studied architecture in college. His greatest joy, however,
was recording. Never satisfied with the sound reproduction in
recording studios, he started Pro Studio Source in the 1960s
to manufacture specialized speakers and to improve recording
equipment. Since 1986, Kenleigh Hall has focused on designing
dance studio sound systems.

Kehl Hiltbrand
Jenny Kehl
Hiltbrand has been instructing and inspiring young dancers for
30 years. She is the 4th generation director of the
Kehl School of Dance, which recently celebrated 125 years. She
manages Madison Dance Productions, which stages Cinderella

Hedy
Perna
Hedy Perna,
with her husband Patrick, directs the Perna Dance
Center in Hazlet, NJ. She has choreographed for the Macy’s
Thanksgiving Day Parade, is founder of Dance Fest at Six Flags
Great Adventure, and is co-coordinator of the annual UDMA
Costume Preview Show Fashion Show. Students from her
non-competitive studio perform nationwide. Perna is currently
the president of Associated Dance Teachers of New Jersey.
Tom
Ralabate
Tom
Ralabate is an associate professor of dance at the University
at
Buffalo
[NY], where he has served as dance director; assistant chair,
dance; and director of Zodiaque Dance Company, UB’s resident
dance company. He has served on international and national
dance faculties for all major dance organizations and is
currently the national education chairperson for Dance Masters
of America.
Cathy
Roe
Cathy Roe
is the owner of Ultimate Dance Competitions and of Cathy Roe
Video Productions. Cathy has produced over 120 educational
dance videos that sell internationally. Her credits include
dance director for the University
of Hawaii, choreographer for Hong Kong television, adjudicator
for numerous competition companies, 20-year dance studio
owner, and director/choreographer for Something In the Air
Dance Company.
